Month Three

Three months old!!!!

This month was busy busy!  We started out with our first road trip to California!!!  It took us 8 hours on the ride there.  We stopped three times to feed and change diapers.  The girls did such a great job in the car.  It was quite the adventure!

The next day in California we drove down to Newport to introduce the girls to the beach!  We went for a long walk on the boardwalk and Chris and Amy Duncan met up with us.  It was really hot, and with no AC in the beach house we ended up making it a short trip and driving back up to Glendora for the evening.

The next night we took the girls for their first meal out at a restaurant.  We went to Miyako sushi in Glendora.  It was delish!!!
Then they had their second meal out at Warehouse pizza with Grandma and Mommy! They are so great at restaurants :)

After the weekend, Daddy went back to Arizona to work for the week while I stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's to help with all the last minute details before Trevor and Candice's wedding the following weekend.  We enjoyed going on walks in downtown Glendora and visiting with some old friends.
During our stay at Grandma and Grandpa's, Addie and Ella had their first 11 hour sleep through the night!!  They have been sleeping about 9 to 11 hours ever since.  We are so happy they are such good sleepers so we can get our rest too!  We discovered that when their sleep sheep would turn off in the middle of the night the girls would wake up.  So we bought a sleep machine that plugs in and makes white noise for the girls and never turns off.  It's a lifesaver!  They love it.

After a great week in Glendora it was off to Santa Monica for Trevor and Candice's wedding!!!  What an awesome weekend.  Thanks to Grandma Patty and Papa, Rick and I were able to participate in all of the wedding festivities while they babysat the girls in the hotel.
The rehearsal dinner was at Tar and Roses.  After the rehearsal dinner all of the Murphy clan went to a bar to continue the celebration and sing karaoke.  It was a blast.  The wedding day was absolutely perfect.  Trevor and Candice were as happy as ever.  Addie and Ella were the mini flower girls in the wedding and they were so darling in their dresses that I made for them.  Patty and Mark took the girls back to the hotel after we showed them off at the cocktail party and took a few pictures.  We danced our butts off at the reception and enjoyed partying with all of our family and friends.

Even though the car ride home after the wedding took us forever with two tired, screaming babies in the back, it was worth it!  We had such a great time and we are so happy to welcome Candice into our family!

Addie really loves her pacifier.  If she wakes up and it's not in her mouth she will let us know about it!  We find ourselves going in and out often to put in her pacifier. I can't wait until she can grab it and put it back in herself!!
The girls are giving us so many smiles this month and they are making all kinds of fun noises.  They will even copy us when we stick our tongue out at them!  It's pretty cute!
They are getting pretty good at tummy time too, lifting and turning their heads.
Here are a few more pictures from this month......

My first trip out solo with the girls!  I was in the driveway, don't worry!!
